How do I care for my swimwear?

Rinse your swimwear in cold fresh water after every use, dry it flat in the shade, and hand wash it only when it needs it. That keeps the fabric, fit and colour in shape for longest.

After every use

  • Rinse with fresh cold water as soon as possible. Salt, pool chemicals, sunscreen and oils can weaken or stain the fabric.
  • Don't wring it. Wringing can stretch the fabric and make it lose its shape.
  • Never leave it wet and rolled up in a bag or towel for long.

Washing

  • Hand wash at no more than 30 °C with a mild detergent.
  • No bleach, colourants or fabric softener.
  • We recommend avoiding the washing machine. If you really have to, use a gentle cold programme and wash the piece on its own, so that it doesn't tangle or get damaged.
  • No tumble drying and no ironing.

Drying

  • Dry flat in the shade. Direct sunlight fades colours over time.
  • Don't hang it from the straps, because they stretch when wet. If you hang it, hang it from the widest part.

While wearing it

  • Rough surfaces such as rocks, piers and surfboards can damage the fabric through abrasion.
  • Tanning oils, sunscreen and pool chemicals may cause stains. If you can, choose a sunscreen without colourants or scents.
